Channel Marker speeds up making your magic sheet by creating a custom object generated from fixture and focus point data. Not only is it faster than drawing by hand, but can pull the most recent data to make sure information is up to date.
To get started, make sure all lighting fixtures have a channel number, a purpose, and a focus which corresponds to a focus points object. Select the tool from the tool set, click on your document, then click again to the right to set the orientation. A menu will appearing allowing you to select which focus areas and purposes you would like to include on the magic sheet.
Once the object has been created, it has a number of options accessible when selected in the object info palette:

Fixture Info gives a streamline and customizable alternative to the object info palette to help with easily editing fixtures.
To get started, select the tool from the tool set and double click on its icon. Here you can toggle what parameters and information is shown in the menu.
Once you are ready to edit, with the tool selected, click on a lighting fixture. If you would like to edit multiple fixtures, you can hold shift to add to your selection before clicking normally to edit. In this menu you can edit your fixture(s) just like you would in the object info palette. Click "Apply" to save your changes or "Cancel" to discard them.

Color Codes gives a quick way for you to color code your lighting fixtures, allowing you to easily assign colors for specific groups based on your choice of parameter.
To get started, allow your document to set fixture color by going to "File">"Document Settings">"Spotlight Preferences...", selecting "Classes and Color" from the left column, and toggling on "Modify lighting device color". Also, under "Lighting Device Color Set by:" select "Object attributes".
Now, by right-clicking anywhere on your document, choose the Color Codes command. If you placed the tool in a different menu when installing, select it from there. In the editor menu, you can choose what parameter you are grouping by, how the categories are sorted, and assign a color to each of them. Click the "Reset" button to reset a color back to white, or the "Reset All" button to return all to white. To save your changes click "Apply", or to discard them click "Cancel".
